Garrett excels at leading companies through the process of transforming their impact on the environment by understanding their baseline, assessing appropriate ambitions, identifying and implementing decarbonization levers, and communicating their efforts to stakeholders. Garrett’s expertise includes ESG and CDP reporting assistance, TCFD and risk analysis, materiality assessments, and renewable energy procurement planning.
Garrett’s professional career has been focused entirely on sustainability consulting. Before ClimeCo, he worked primarily on corporate sustainability projects for consumer-facing brands in the apparel, logistics, and food sectors. His clients have also included many hard-to-abate and industrial companies, governments, and cities throughout his career. Other industries of expertise include entertainment, chemicals, pharma, waste management, construction, materials, oil & gas, automotive, rental, and utilities.
Garrett earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Magna Cum Laude honors from the University of Vermont. He likes to take advantage of Vermont’s great outdoors through hiking, skiing, biking, disc golfing, and more in his free time. He also loves playing board games with friends and hanging out with his two cats.
