Merrick G. Andlinger

Merrick Andlinger is the president of Andlinger & Company, Inc., a private investment and management firm founded in 1976 with offices in the U.S. and Europe. Merrick serves (and has served previously) on numerous domestic and international corporate boards in the manufacturing, technology, cleantech and service sectors. He is also a board member of charitable and education institutions, including the advisory board of Princeton University’s Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment. For many years, Merrick was an energy investment banker. He has been a small-enterprise chief executive officer, a corporate spy and a college professor. He served as executive chairman of AgCert International Plc, a clean development mechanism (CDM) project developer; chief executive officer of Pure Energy Corporation, a bio-based fuel and chemical company; and managing director and co-head of the Global Energy and Power Group in the Corporate Finance Department of Smith Barney Inc. He began his investment banking career at Salomon Brothers. Mr. Andlinger holds a Masters of Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and an bachelor’s degree from Princeton University.
