Rehana Thomas

Rehana supports the implementation of greenhouse gas emission reduction and removal projects using nature-based solutions. Before joining ClimeCo, she spent over seven years in environmental and natural resources management in Guyana, where she worked with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including government, NGOs, civil society, and Indigenous communities, to implement sustainable, low-carbon solutions. Rehana is also experienced in using geospatial tools to perform environmental analysis to support sustainability projects.

Rehana holds an MSc in Tropical Forestry from Bangor University and a Professional Master’s in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energies from Structuralia University, Spain. She also completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography at the University of Guyana and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Based in Calgary, Rehana is dedicated to advancing environmentally conscious projects and is passionate about exploring the great outdoors and new destinations.
