Suzie Kaufman

Director, Finance

Suzie joined ClimeCo after serving as Director of Finance at Carbonfund.org for nearly a decade. There she wore many “hats”, including the handling of accounting and financial reporting, auditing, government compliance, and human resources. She was also the finance manager for the nonprofit Carbonfund.org Foundation and its entities CarbonCo, LLC and Camp Quinebarge. At ClimeCo, Suzie joins our Finance Team as our new Director of Finance.  

In her previous life, she worked as a preschool teacher and was a marketing communications specialist for the United States General Services Administration. Suzie holds a Master of Science in Business from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Shepherd University.  

Suzie and her husband recently became empty nesters and are enjoying their free time hiking, biking, attending concerts, and exploring the country’s beaches.
